Lake Lugano, the Ceresio, winds in several narrow arms between the mountains of Ticino and Lombardy. Over 22 km, with heightened relief, the piece brings out Monte San Salvatore and Monte Brè on either side of Lugano, Monte Generoso further south and the Melide causeway that cuts the lake in two. Ticino from above, for those who live there or come back every summer.
