The Transruinaulta in relief: 42 km from Ilanz to Thusis through the Rhine Gorge, with your name and time engraved under the base.
In late October, the Transruinaulta links Ilanz and Thusis through the Ruinaulta, the canyon the Vorderrhein has cut through the debris of the Flims landslide. The course first follows the river deep in the gorge, then climbs to Versam and crosses the Versamer Tobel before reaching Rhäzüns. The finish runs above Cazis and the Domleschg to the line in Thusis. On the piece, you finally see the whole gorge, its white cliffs and the climbs out of it. Route of the 2023 edition.
The relief comes from swisstopo elevation data, accurate to the metre; the race line is drawn on top.
