Davos X-Trails: the route
Each July the Davos X-Trails carry on the long mountain-running tradition of Davos that began with the Swissalpine. The Diamond (68 km, about 3,300 m of climbing) starts at the Davos sports centre, runs up the Dischmatal, the longest side valley of Davos, crosses the Scaletta Pass on an old mule track, then the Sertig Pass at 2,739 m, the high point, climbs through the Ducantal to the Fanezfurgga and the Walser village of Monstein, and returns via Sertig Dörfli and larch forests. The Gold (43 km, about 1,700 m) starts together with the Diamond and heads back to Davos earlier from Sertig. On the race route relief map, the parallel Dischma and Sertig valleys spread around Davos like open fingers, and your line joins them over their passes. A finisher keepsake from the trails above Davos, or a gift for trail runners who conquered these passes. The base is engraved with the name, finishing time and date.
