Wildstrubel by UTMB in relief

The Wildstrubel by UTMB, between Crans-Montana and the Bernese Oberland, as a relief map: your route around the Wildstrubel massif on the real terrain, with your name, time and date engraved on the base.

Wildstrubel by UTMB: the route

Each September the Wildstrubel by UTMB circles a massif straddling Valais and Bern. The Wild 110 (113 km, about 6,600 m of climbing) starts at night in Crans-Montana, crosses the Gemmi Pass above Leukerbad, drops to Kandersteg, carries on to Adelboden and Lenk, then climbs to the Wildstrubel hut, the high point at around 2,800 m, and over the Rawil Pass back to the Tseuzier dam and Crans-Montana. The Wild 70 (72 km, about 4,600 m) starts in Kandersteg and runs over the Bunderchrinde, through Adelboden and over the Hahnenmoos Pass to Lenk, then via the Iffigenalp and the Rawil to the finish in Crans-Montana. On the race route relief map you can clearly see the range the race crosses twice, and the contrast between the Bernese valleys and the Valais plateau. A finisher keepsake from this loop around the Wildstrubel, or a gift for trail runners who have seen both sides. The base carries the name, finishing time and date.

The relief comes from swisstopo elevation data, accurate to the metre; the race line is drawn on top. 12 × 12 or 18 × 18 cm, made to order in 7 working days, free delivery in Switzerland.
