Swissalpine Flims-Laax: the route
Since its relaunch in Flims, the Swissalpine winds through the Flimserwald forest and climbs to the ridges of the upper ski area, on the edge of the UNESCO-listed Sardona Tectonic Arena. The K42 has around 2,500 m of climbing and the K78 more than 4,000 m: the relief shows at a glance what each distance means, from the forest floor to the ridges. Not to be confused with the Davos X-Trails, the former Swissalpine in Davos, which runs on a different course.
The relief comes from swisstopo elevation data, accurate to the metre; the race line is drawn on top. 12 × 12 or 18 × 18 cm, made to order in 7 working days, free delivery in Switzerland.
