The Gruyère Trail 54K course starts and finishes at the Charmey sports centre and is the event’s biggest loop through the Fribourg Pre-Alps. The relief shows the succession of limestone ridges, pastures and side valleys of the Jogne valley and the Gruyère region, with nearly 3,800 m of ascent. Longer and higher than the 36K, this route covers a much wider area of the mountains around Charmey. The start is before dawn, in July.
The relief comes from swisstopo elevation data, accurate to the metre; the race line is drawn on top.
