Inferno Halbmarathon in relief
Lauterbrunnen → Schilthorn · 21.1 km · 2'175 m D+
The 21.1 km and nearly 2,200 m of climbing of the Inferno Half Marathon as a relief, from Lauterbrunnen to the Schilthorn summit.
The Inferno Half Marathon course starts in Lauterbrunnen, at the foot of the valley’s sheer walls, and climbs almost without pause to the summit of the Schilthorn. The relief shows the steep first ascent to Grütschalp, then the balcony section to the Höhenlücke above Mürren. The last third is the hardest: over 1,000 m of ascent in a few kilometres up to Piz Gloria at around 2,970 m. On the piece, the Lauterbrunnen valley and the Schilthorn face each other. Raced in August.
The relief comes from swisstopo elevation data, accurate to the metre; the race line is drawn on top. On the front band of the base we engrave your name and your time; underneath, the race, the date, the distance and the elevation gain. 12 × 12 or 18 × 18 cm, made to order in 7 working days, free delivery in Switzerland.
