Eiger Ultra Trail E51 in relief
Grindelwald · 51 km · 3'100 m D+
The 51 km and 3,100 m of climbing of the Eiger Ultra Trail E51 as a relief, starting from Grindelwald.
The E51 course stays on the north side of the Grindelwald valley, facing the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The relief picks out the opening climb to Grosse Scheidegg, then First and the shores of the Bachalpsee. The high point is the Faulhorn at 2,680 m, followed by the long ridge to Schynige Platte and the descent via Burglauenen back to Grindelwald. Unlike the E101, it does not cross over to Wengen: this is a balcony route, run in July.
The relief comes from swisstopo elevation data, accurate to the metre; the race line is drawn on top. On the front band of the base we engrave your name and your time; underneath, the race, the date, the distance and the elevation gain. 12 × 12 or 18 × 18 cm, made to order in 7 working days, free delivery in Switzerland.
