Eiger Ultra Trail: the route
Each July the Eiger Ultra Trail turns Grindelwald into a base for racing in front of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The E101 (101 km, about 6,700 m of climbing) links the Grosse Scheidegg, First, the Faulhorn and Schynige Platte, then the Männlichen and Kleine Scheidegg before returning beneath the north face. The E51 (51 km) shares the first half: Grosse Scheidegg, First, the Bachalpsee and the Faulhorn summit at 2,680 m.
The E35 starts in Burglauenen, climbs to Wengen and up the Gemsenweg to the Männlichen, crosses the Kleine Scheidegg and finishes in Grindelwald via the Eiger Trail. The E16 is a 16 km loop around Grindelwald. On the race route relief map the Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen valleys stand out sharply, and you can follow your line pass by pass. A finisher keepsake for anyone who has run under the Eiger, and a gift for trail runners that needs no explanation. The base is engraved with the name, finishing time and date.

- We use the route published by the organisers for the edition shown on the page (2026 for E101, E51 and E35; 2024 for the E16). If your year used a variant or bad-weather course, contact us before ordering.
- Can I give it to a finisher?
