Jungfrau-Marathon in relief
Interlaken → Kleine Scheidegg · 42 km · 1'953 m D+
The 42.195 km and nearly 2,000 m of climbing of the Jungfrau Marathon as a relief, from Interlaken to Kleine Scheidegg.
The Jungfrau Marathon course starts in Interlaken, between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, and stays almost flat for the first half via Bönigen and Wilderswil. The relief then shows the entry into the Lauterbrunnen valley and the long climb to Wengen. The final section rises above the tree line to the moraine and finishes at Kleine Scheidegg, facing the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. A mountain marathon with a steadily rising profile, run in September.
The relief comes from swisstopo elevation data, accurate to the metre; the race line is drawn on top. On the front band of the base we engrave your name and your time; underneath, the race, the date, the distance and the elevation gain. 12 × 12 or 18 × 18 cm, made to order in 7 working days, free delivery in Switzerland.
