The SuperTrail du Barlatay 50 km course starts and finishes in L’Etivaz, looping through the Pays-d’Enhaut. The relief brings out the pasture valleys, grassy passes and limestone ridges of the Vaud Pre-Alps that the route links together. At just over 50 km with around 2,850 m of ascent, it is the event’s middle distance: long enough to cross several ridges around the Torneresse valley, yet more compact than the 75 km. The race takes place in August, at the height of the summer grazing season.
The relief comes from swisstopo elevation data, accurate to the metre; the race line is drawn on top.
