Swiss Alps 100 · 100 km in relief
Fiesch · 100 km · 6'250 m D+
The 100 km and 6,250 m of climbing of the Swiss Alps 100 as a relief, a loop from Fiesch.
The Swiss Alps 100 course over 100 km starts and finishes in Fiesch in the Goms valley, looping through the region of the Aletsch Glacier, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The relief shows the steep slopes above the Rhône, the alpine terraces above Fiesch and the ridge beyond which the great glacier opens up. Shorter than the 160 km, this loop stays close to the valley and the Aletsch balconies. On the piece, the Eggishorn and the Upper Valais frame the route. Raced in August.
The relief comes from swisstopo elevation data, accurate to the metre; the race line is drawn on top. On the front band of the base we engrave your name and your time; underneath, the race, the date, the distance and the elevation gain. 12 × 12 or 18 × 18 cm, made to order in 7 working days, free delivery in Switzerland.
