Swiss Peaks 100 Miles in relief
Dixence → Le Bouveret · 168 km · 10'990 m D+
The 168 km and nearly 11,000 m of climbing of the Swiss Peaks 100 Miles as a relief, from the Grande Dixence dam to Le Bouveret.
The Swiss Peaks 100 Miles course crosses French-speaking Valais from east to west, from the Grande Dixence dam at the head of the Val des Dix to Le Bouveret on the shore of Lake Geneva. The relief shows the high-altitude start, then a long run of high trails and hillside villages through the side valleys of the Rhône to the Chablais. With almost 11,000 m of ascent but around 13,000 m of descent, the profile clearly trends downhill: the piece shows the drop from Lac des Dix to Lake Geneva. Raced in September.
The relief is reproduced accurate to the metre; the race line is drawn on top. On the front band of the base we engrave your name and your time; underneath, the race, the date, the distance and the elevation gain. 12 × 12 or 18 × 18 cm, made to order in 7 working days, free delivery in Switzerland.
