The 32 km and 2,000 m of climbing of the Matterhorn Ultraks Mountain as a relief, a loop around Zermatt.
The Matterhorn Ultraks Mountain course is a 32 km loop from Zermatt, shorter and lower than the Sky 49K. The relief shows the climb to Riffelalp, reached after about 13 km and 900 m of ascent above the Zermatt valley. The route then crosses the Gorner gorge on a suspension bridge and heads back towards the village, staying below the high balconies. The piece shows a compact loop overlooked by the Matterhorn, with around 2,000 m of climbing in total. Raced in August.
The relief comes from swisstopo elevation data, accurate to the metre; the race line is drawn on top.
